1. A pretty good strategy to make sure the students are web literate is to give them lessons and websites to go on and search for certain information about technology. Technology is used on multiple things nowadays and is really hard to get by without. Its good to know a lot about the web and internet, especially for jobs.
2. Teachers should have problem solving skills and have experience with the internet already and start searching for more and more sites and sources. They will gain information in their heads from various websites.
3.Schools should definitely block some websites because it could distract the students from doing what they're supposed to be. It will cause them to dwell on other things and procrastinate doing school hours. This will prevent them from getting work done and getting good grades.
4.Yes, the Internet is as big as the printing press because there are millions and millions of Internet users worldwide and it has become a big part of life. You can search whatever you want and get most of the information you want if you look hard enough.
5.I think that the part of our culture that will be most affected is how people communicate with each other and relationships with other people. The Internet allows us to talk to other people online. It also allows us to access their information and know more about them. It also affects library's because instead of going to buy a book, you can just look it up on the internet now.
